Training

We believe that a well-trained and skilled workforce underpins the quality of our service delivery. We are committed to the development and achievement of vocational qualifications and all of our training is linked to occupational standards in care.

All of our care staff undertake a mandatory one-week induction training programme before they are allowed to work in the community. They are also required to begin a foundation training course within the first six weeks of employment. The foundation course covers all mandatory subjects and a number of specialist subjects. We are very proud of our training programme and of the resulting skills of our staff team.
